The inauguration of Dr William Samoei Ruto as the fifth President of the Republic of Kenya will take place at Kasarani Stadium on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, marking the start of the five-year term of William Ruto as President and Rigathi Gachagua as Deputy President.
Dr Ruto will take the presidential oath of office, before which Gachagua takes the deputy presidential oath of office.

Preparations are in top gear at Kasarani Stadium, the venue for the swearing-in ceremony of president-elect Dr William Ruto on Tuesday, September 13, 2022. The Assumption of the Office Committee says preparations are in the final stages assuring that everything will be in place for the historic event.
