HOW TO: Activate Windows 10/11 using CMD (manual activation)

Follow these five simple steps to activate your Windows 10/11.

Step 1: Click on the start button, search for “cmd” then Open Command Prompt as administrator. 

Step 2: Uninstall the previous key. Use the command "slmgr /upk" 

C:\WINDOWS\system32>slmgr /upk 

Step3: Install a KMS client key, use the command “slmgr /ipk yourlicensekey” to install a license key. 

C:\WINDOWS\system32>slmgr /ipk W269N-WFGWX-YVC9B-4J6C9-T83GX 

Step 4: Set KMS machine address. Use the command “slmgr /skms kms8.msguides.com” to connect to my KMS server. 

C:\WINDOWS\system32>slmgr /skms kms8.msguides.com 

Step 5: To activate your Windows, type the command “slmgr /ato” then press enter. This last command will activate your Windows 10/11. 
C:\WINDOWS\system32>slmgr /ato
