Last night (second night), former US President Barack Obama gave the keynote speech at the Democratic National Convention.
Obama made a plea for patience and civility, using the example of families who might not share the same political beliefs.
Obama praised Gov. Tim Walz in his speech, calling him an "outstanding partner" and adding, "I love this guy."
He even poked fun at Donald Trump's ongoing talk about who has drawn bigger crowds since Kamala Harris announced her candidacy.
But his message to support Harris was strongest.
"In this new economy, we need a president who actually cares about the millions of people all across this country who wake up every single day to do the essential, often thankless work, to care for our sick, to clean our streets, to deliver our packages.
We need a president who will stand up for their rights to bargain for better wages and working conditions. And Kamala will be that president. Yes, she can."
On the eve of Democratic National Convention (DNC), #KamalaHarris was leading #DonaldTrump by at least 3-5 points in the polls.
They (Republicans) say polls are only credible when #Trump is leading 😅
Everything changed when President #Biden ended his reelection bid, and VP #Harris took over the Democratic ticket.
Clearly, the Trump-Vance campaign really did not plan for this unprecedented move.
Well, u all remember what happened the last time Trump lost an election- he tried to find some 11,000 votes in Georgia, incited an insurrection, etc. The fear of a second defeat is crashing his camp; they're yelling election fraud claims, without providing any substantial evidence.
Trump's confused running mate, J.D. #Vance is telling the world that msm is rigging poll figures in favour of Harris, or rather who he likes insulting as the 'childless cat lady'.
Furthermore, some in the GOP camp are sensing an early defeat. Recently, appearing on NBC #News , Sen. Lindsey #Graham said his buddy (Trump) may not win the Nov. election...
Trump-Vance campaign has exhausted all its talking points, which are mostly nothing but insults to Kamala Harris.
Many influencial figures including Elon #Musk have tried to help out but, this sinking ship cannot be saved. It's final destination is the bottom of the Ocean.
