Deputy President William Ruto led United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Party conducted its primaries on April 14.
According to UDA National Elections Board (NEB) chairman Anthony Mwaura, nomination for all the wards, constituencies and counties was held on the same day.
The party subjected all aspirants to a competitive exercise save for areas where there is a single aspirant.
According to the Elections Board, over 6,000 aspirants contested on the party's ticket across the country on the 14th April 2022 in preparation for the 9th August General Elections.
