Opinion: Would I support Dr. Fred Matiang'i for Presidency in 2027?

This should be a very critical question for all Kenyans.

Would I support or vote for Dr. Fred Matiang'i ?

Former Kenyan interior Cabinet Secretary Dr. Fred Matiang'i seems to be seriously  considering running for president in 2027. It has been reported that in July of 2024, Matiang'i signed a consultancy agreement with Canadian lobbying firm Dickens & Madson; to support his efforts to become President of Kenya in 2027.

Here's my opinion on the question of Fred Matiang'i:

I greatly admire his tenure at Education and ICT sector... However, I'm really concerned about his handling of River Yala abductions & extrajudicial killings, etc... while he was that 'all powerful' Prime/ Interior CS.

President William Ruto promised to END all the abductions/ extrajudicial killings but through Interior CS Kindiki (who is the current 'selected' Deputy President), Ruto  continued the same Uhuru/Matiang'i evil. What Ruto has done is simply relocate the site for damping bodies from River Yala to Kware, forests or elsewhere.

After a brutal reality check, I have lost my cool as a Ruto's 2022 voter.
Anyway, enough of President Ruto on this specific post; because I won't vote for him come 2027.
The question is about Matiang'i, would I support him?

At the moment, I'm behind the former (elected) Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua. I'm open to supporting any political realignment he (Riggy G) endorses...so long as it is anti-Ruto! So, if he says Matiang'i tosha or Kalonzo tosha, etc, I will show up for them.

I urge #genz & #millennials to register as a voter if you haven't...

I hope you like, enjoy or agree with some of my political views. I'm gonna share them- irregardless of your feelings/response; because I think it's very important that all Kenyans must understand the consequences of our actions, and understand that voting matters and election in Kenya is 'sometimes' the issue of the two lesser evils. Conveniently, the enemy of my enemy is a friend!

Your one vote/voice can fundamentally shift the entirely village, location, ward or even the whole country. You could ruin your own life, you could affect the lives of others around you.

Elections is a very very important stuff to voters; but it is a game to politicians.

That's the point I'm trying to get across in my ruzeki posts.

Thank you for your interactions.
