Review of Kenya’s Major Non-NATO Ally (MNNA) Status

 By RuzekiShadoww News

August 07, 2025

The designation of Kenya as a Major Non-NATO Ally (MNNA) by the United States on June 24, 2024, marked a significant diplomatic milestone—but it also triggered deep scrutiny.

This review examines whether Kenya’s political conduct, security alignments, and financial dealings genuinely reflect the values and responsibilities expected of a U.S. strategic partner.

Review of Kenya’s Major Non-NATO Ally (MNNA) Status Conferred: June 24, 2024

Subject of Review: Government of Kenya (GoK)

The designation of Kenya as a Major Non-NATO Ally (MNNA) by the United States was a strategic milestone. However, with privilege comes scrutiny. The following areas are under review, with attention to inconsistencies, covert alignments, and potential abuse of the MNNA status by the Government of Kenya (GoK) and its leadership.

1. Kenya–U.S. Partnership in Countering Violent Extremism (Sub-Saharan Africa & Haiti)

Assessment:

Kenya has been praised for its regional role in peacekeeping and counterterrorism, notably in Somalia (AMISOM/ATMIS) and most recently in Haiti. However, effectiveness is undercut by operational opacity, logistical failures, and accusations of brutality by Kenyan forces abroad.

Critique:

The GoK has often leveraged counterterrorism as a diplomatic shield while neglecting internal reforms on accountability. Kenya’s security forces continue to be marred by extrajudicial killings, forced disappearances, and profiling of peaceful protesters and ethnic groups under the guise of CVE (Countering Violent Extremism). The deployment to Haiti may serve U.S. strategic optics more than genuine regional stabilization.

2. Military and Security Engagement with China, Russia, and Iran

Assessment:
Despite close ties with the U.S., Kenya maintains active defense cooperation with China (military equipment procurement, surveillance tech), and growing diplomatic gestures toward Russia and Iran.

Critique:
The GoK appears to play both sides—accepting U.S. security privileges while flirting with what the West see as authoritarian states. These parallel alignments raise alarms about conflicted loyalties and undermine the spirit of MNNA cooperation. Kenya’s acquisition of surveillance systems from China, some allegedly used against civil society and opposition, contradicts democratic values underpinning MNNA designations.

3. Political and Financial Ties of Key Political Actors with China, Russia & Iran

Assessment:
Several high-profile Kenyan politicians led by President Ruto and his close businessmen have opaque financial dealings and partnerships with entities linked to Beijing, Moscow, and Tehran.

Critique:
These relationships compromise Kenya’s geopolitical posture. While U.S. aid and intelligence flow into Nairobi, Chinese loans quietly balloon and Russian disinformation campaigns find fertile ground in Kenya’s digital space. The entanglement of top Kenyan officials with sanctioned Iranian networks further casts doubt on the integrity of the country's foreign policy and financial institutions.

4. GoK and Its Officials’ Relationships with Non-State Armed Groups (RSF, Al-Shabaab)

Assessment:
Kenya’s porous borders and the murky involvement of some state officials in illicit arms and smuggling networks create opportunities for collusion with armed groups, including Sudan’s Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and remnants of Al-Shabaab.

Critique:
There is disturbing evidence—both anecdotal and intelligence-based—suggesting state complicity or willful negligence in dealings with non-state actors. This includes the laundering of illicit wealth through Kenyan banks, facilitation of safe passage, and political protection of profiteers. The government's inability—or refusal—to prosecute those involved points to systemic rot and dangerous tolerance of extremist-linked networks.

5. Trade and Investment with China – Debt, Commercial Ties, and Belt & Road Initiative

Assessment:
Kenya is deeply embedded in China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), with billions in loans tied to infrastructure and extractive deals. These have ballooned Kenya’s public debt and created structural dependence.

Critique:
The GoK has consistently failed to renegotiate or transparently manage Chinese debt, instead engaging in debt diplomacy appeasement. Some BRI projects lack public value yet bind Kenya into long-term financial obligations that threaten sovereignty. The U.S. must now contend with a “strategic ally” that is economically hostage to Beijing.

6. Kenya as a Financial Safe Haven for Regional Elites, War Profiteers, and Terrorists

Assessment:
Kenya’s financial system is increasingly used as a laundering hub for elites from Sudan, South Sudan, Uganda, and Somalia. Nairobi’s real estate, banking, and remittance systems are exploited by politically exposed persons (PEPs), warlords, and terror financiers.

Critique:
The GoK’s failure to reform or audit its financial institutions has made Kenya a regional laundromat for dirty money. While the U.S. pours resources into financial surveillance and anti-terrorism funding, Kenyan institutions continue to shield or ignore illegal capital flows—some directly funding violence and insurgencies in neighboring states.

7. Use of U.S. Intelligence & Security Assistance for Domestic Repression

Assessment:
While U.S. security and intelligence tools are intended to bolster legitimate counterterrorism and public safety, there is growing concern that the Kenyan state uses this support to suppress civil liberties and target political dissent

Critique:
There are credible reports of U.S.-trained units being involved in renditions, torture, abductions, and domestic surveillance of journalists, activists and civilians. These actions erode trust and violate the very principles MNNA status is meant to uphold. Kenya’s security apparatus, under minimal civilian oversight, has become a tool of state-sponsored political violence, especially against youth, opposition leaders, and some ethnic groups.

Is Kenya A Strategic Ally or a Double Agent?

While Kenya presents itself as a democratic bulwark in a volatile region, its geopolitical double-dealing, internal abuses, and financial opaqueness paint a more disturbing picture. The GoK’s exploitation of U.S. support for domestic repression, strategic hedging with autocracies, and permissiveness toward terror-linked finances calls for a comprehensive reevaluation of its MNNA status.

The United States must condition continued support on:

  • Transparent audits of military aid and training use
  • Reforms in financial oversight and anti-money laundering enforcement
  • Immediate end to the use of U.S. tools for political repression
  • Clear distancing from state and non-state actors in Russia, China, Iran, and regional war economies

Kenya cannot continue to speak Washington’s language while dancing to Beijing’s drums. Either it walks the democratic path in full, or it risks being stripped of the privileges that come with MNNA designation.

Tensions Soar as India and Pakistan Exchange Strikes Following Pahalgam Deadly Attack

By RuzekiShadoww News
May 7, 2025

A tit-for-tat strikes represent the most serious flare-up in years between the two nuclear-armed neighbors

New Delhi/Islamabad — India launched airstrikes on nine locations in Pakistan and Pakistan-administered Kashmir early Tuesday morning, in response to a militant assault in Pahalgam that left 26 civilians dead. The Indian government described the operation as a "precision retaliation" targeting militant infrastructure.

“At 0400 hours, Indian Air Force jets struck carefully selected militant launch pads across the border. This is a measured response to the unprovoked killing of innocent lives in Pahalgam,” said Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh in a press briefing.

The strikes reportedly resulted in seven deaths, including at least two children, according to Pakistani officials.

In a swift retaliation, Pakistan launched a barrage of ballistic and cruise missiles into Indian territory, earlier Wednesday. The Pakistani military stated the response was “necessary to uphold national sovereignty."

“We will not allow any violation of our airspace or aggression against our people to go unanswered,” said Pakistani Army spokesperson Major General Ahmed Niazi.

Artillery exchanges have also erupted along the Line of Control in Kashmir, with both sides reporting civilian displacements and damage to infrastructure.

Residents in border villages are bracing for further escalation. “We heard explosions all night. We’re scared for our children,” said Farah Bano, a resident of Kupwara in Indian-administered Kashmir.

Military analysts warn that the tit-for-tat strikes represent the most serious flare-up in years between the two nuclear-armed neighbors, who are sworn enemies.

“This is a critical moment. Both countries need to pull back and re-establish communication channels. A full-scale conflict would be catastrophic not just for the region but globally,” said Arvind Menon, a South Asia security expert based in Delhi.

The international community has called for restraint, with the United Nations urging both nations to de-escalate and return to diplomatic dialogue.

America on the Brink: How Trump’s Policies Are Fueling Economic Decline

By RuzekiShadoww News
March 20, 2025

Trump is dragging America to the brink of a full-blown recession—rising inflation, stock market crashes, and economic instability are just the beginning.

In just two months of his so-called "concepts of a plan," the U.S. has gone from a pillar of economic strength to a volatile and unpredictable trading partner. Once the world's top investment destination, America is now hemorrhaging credibility. Global markets are rattled, investors are pulling back, and businesses are bracing for impact.

Trump's reckless trade wars and destructive tariffs—haphazardly imposed on China, Europe, Canada, Japan, and Mexico—are suffocating industries at home while alienating allies abroad. His erratic DOGE-driven policies turn Wall Street into a casino, where economic forecasts shift on the whims of a tweet. Meanwhile, his decision to gut USAID programs, particularly in Africa, is dismantling decades of U.S. diplomatic leverage, eroding America’s soft power, and accelerating its decline in global influence.

With these business-hostile policies, Trump is achieving only one thing: the immiseration of Americans. Jobs are vanishing, wages are stagnating, and prices are soaring—all while he insists it’s “worth it.”

The world is losing faith in U.S. assets. Investors no longer see America as the safe bet it once was. And since power abhors a vacuum, others are stepping in.

China is tightening its grip on global trade. Europe is forging new alliances. BRICS+ is rising. The geopolitical landscape is shifting—and under Trump, America is slipping from the throne.

Ruto’s Foreign Policy Missteps That Cost Raila the AUC race.

By RuzekiShadoww News
February 19, 2025

Does the Foreign Affairs and NIS officials mislead President William Ruto, or he just refuses to listen to advice?

Foreign Policy Missteps That Cost Raila

  • Called French President Macron when Kivu fell, despite France’s complicity in the crisis—angered Francophone nations.
  • Hosted M23 militia leaders in Nairobi—alienated 16 SADC member states.
  • Welcomed Sudan’s RSF rebel leader to Kenya—provoked backlash from the Arab world.
  • Expressed support for Israel despite mounting evidence of genocide in Gaza.
  • Aligned with the U.S. in the Ukraine-Russia war, undermining the AU’s mediation efforts.
  • Recognized Eastern Saharawi on his first day in office, contradicting the AU’s stance.
  • Abducted and deported Ugandan opposition figure Giza Besigye, now on hunger strike in a military prison.
  • Issued conflicting statements on key geopolitical matters, diverging from AU regional blocs.
  • Misled the public about Kenya’s payment to host the Grammys.
  • Attempted to bribe Djibouti’s AUC candidate, Mahmoud Youssouf, to drop out of the race.
  • (In Feb 2023) Pressured the AU to dismiss Raila as AU Special Envoy for Infrastructure, terming Raila as violence instigator in Kenya. (In 2025) Asks the same AU to vote for Raila.
Conclusion: It's either the Foreign Affairs officials and NIS misleading President Ruto, or he refuses to listen to advice.

The Ongoing Push for United Nations Security Council Reform

By RuzekiShadoww News
February 18, 2025

Momentum is building for reforms in the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), with growing demands for expansion to better align with the current global power structure.

Global Push for UNSC Expansion

Germany, India, Japan, and Brazil are among the leading UN members lobbying for permanent seats in the UNSC. However, their bids face strong opposition from two of the current permanent members:

  • Russia opposes Germany and Japan’s inclusion.
  • The United States resists Brazil and India’s bids.

Both nations have strategically used their veto power to stall reforms and counter each other's influence.

Africa’s Demand for Permanent Representation

The African Union (AU), representing 54 UN member states, has been vocal in demanding two permanent seats to ensure Africa has a stronger voice in global decision-making.

Among African nations, South Africa has emerged as a strong contender due to its economic strength, diplomatic influence, and active role in peacekeeping.

However, Africa is pushing for two permanent seats. This raises the question:
Which other African country should join South Africa in representing the continent in the UNSC?

  • Nigeria – Africa’s largest economy with strong regional influence.
  • Egypt – A historical diplomatic leader with control over the Suez Canal.
  • Algeria – A key player in counterterrorism and Sahel security.
  • Kenya – A major contributor to peacekeeping and regional stability.

Egypt and South Africa: The Best Fit for Africa

Among the contenders, Egypt and South Africa offer the strongest combination of diplomatic, military, and economic influence.

  • Egypt brings global strategic importance, historical leadership, and control over the Suez Canal.
  • South Africa represents Sub-Saharan Africa, has a strong democratic tradition, and plays a leading role in peacekeeping and economic affairs.

This pairing ensures balanced representation of both North and Sub-Saharan Africa in global decision-making.

Why the U.S. Resists UNSC Reform

Despite increasing pressure for reform, the United States remains reluctant to allow UNSC expansion. Here’s why:

  1. Maintaining Its Dominance

    • The current UNSC structure favors U.S. influence, allowing it to veto decisions that go against its interests.
    • More permanent members could dilute U.S. power and make global decision-making harder to control.
  2. Concerns Over Rival Nations

    • The U.S. opposes Brazil and India’s inclusion, fearing they could strengthen alternative alliances like BRICS+.
    • More UNSC seats could increase Russia and China’s influence if new members align with them.
  3. Selective Support for Allies

    • The U.S. supports Japan and Germany, but not full UNSC reform, fearing unpredictable shifts in power.
    • It prefers NATO and bilateral alliances over restructuring global institutions.
  4. Fear of a Weaker Veto Power

    • More permanent members could lead to more veto powers, making it harder for the U.S. to block decisions, especially in regions like the Middle East.
  5. Political and Bureaucratic Hurdles

    • UNSC reform requires two-thirds approval in the UN General Assembly and no veto from the five permanent members (U.S., Russia, China, France, UK).
    • The U.S. sees this as too risky, as it could trigger a domino effect, allowing unexpected countries to gain influence.

Will the U.S. Ever Support UNSC Reform?

The U.S. may eventually support limited reforms, but only if it can ensure that new members align with its strategic interests.

However, as long as Russia and China hold veto power, the U.S. will likely block major changes to prevent a shift in global power.

The Future of UNSC Reform: A Long Battle Ahead

The fight for UNSC reform will be long and complex, but growing pressure from Africa, Latin America, and Asia might eventually force change.

The big question remains:
Will the world embrace a more balanced UNSC, or will the great powers keep delaying reforms?

What’s your prediction? Will reform happen, or will the status quo remain?

Why Raila Lost the AUC election: A Geopolitical and Domestic Analysis

By RuzekiShadoww News
February 15, 2025

Raila’s defeat today wasn’t just about Kenyan politics—it was shaped by Africa’s evolving geopolitical landscape, international power struggles, and internal realignments within the African Union.

Here's a geopolitical and domestic analysis of why Raila Lost

Raila Odinga’s recent political setback in Addis Ababa wasn’t just about local dynamics—it was influenced by regional geopolitics, international alignments, and Kenya’s internal power struggles. While many attribute his loss to domestic political maneuvers, broader global and continental forces played a critical role.

1. Ruto’s Influence and Kenya’s Pro-US Stance

At the center of this outcome is President William Ruto, whose government has leaned heavily towards the United States and Western allies. This shift directly clashes with China’s growing influence in Africa, forcing geopolitical realignments. Raila, seen as a more neutral figure with historical ties to both Western and Eastern blocs, may have faced indirect opposition from actors aligned with China’s interests.

2. China’s Deep Ties with Djibouti

Djibouti, home to China’s only overseas military base, has become a strategic outpost for Beijing’s ambitions in Africa. The country’s leadership holds significant sway within the African Union Commission (AUC) and broader continental policymaking. China operatives were busy lobbying for Djibouti's candidate Mahmoud Ali Yousouff. Given Kenya’s pro-Western alignment under Ruto, China may have found a Raila-led Kenya less geopolitically favorable, influencing power plays within African institutions.

3. The China-US Power Games in Africa

Africa has become a battleground for US-China rivalry, with economic, military, and political stakes at play. Ruto has aggressively courted the West, securing major deals, while countries like Ethiopia, Djibouti, and South Africa remain deeply tied to China. This broader alignment may have influenced diplomatic maneuvers within the AU, subtly impacting Raila’s chances.

4. Conflicts in DRC and Sudan Shaping AU Priorities

The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) conflict, coupled with Sudan’s ongoing crisis, has redirected AU’s focus towards regional security concerns. With Kenya actively involved in peace efforts—often in line with US and Western interests—Raila’s potential leadership could have disrupted existing security partnerships. The AU, influenced by multiple geopolitical actors, may have favored stability over change.

5. Recent Political Developments in Kenya

Domestically, Kenya has been rocked by high-profile abductions, state repression, and corruption scandals. Ruto has been accused of consolidating power through questionable means, including allegations of being among the world’s most corrupt leaders. This has tarnished Kenya’s image but also strengthened Ruto’s grip on institutions, making it difficult for Raila to mount a successful challenge.

6. The Francophone vs. Anglophone Divide

A longstanding but often overlooked factor in AU politics is the Francophone vs. Anglophone rivalry. France, through its traditional spheres of influence in West and Central Africa, continues to wield significant control. Kenya, an Anglophone powerhouse, often faces resistance from Francophone-aligned blocs in AU decision-making. Raila, despite his pan-African credentials, may have been a victim of these deep-seated power struggles.

A Perfect Storm of Continental and Global Factors

Raila’s defeat wasn’t just about Kenyan politics—it was shaped by Africa’s evolving geopolitical landscape, international power struggles, and internal realignments within the AU. As Kenya cements its pro-Western stance, China’s silent maneuvers and Africa’s internal power plays will continue shaping the region’s political future.

Yemen's Houthis hits central Israel for the first time

By RuzekiShadoww News

September 15, 2024

On Sunday at around 6:30 a.m, the Houthis successfully attacked a vital target close to Ben Gurion Airport, Tel Aviv, Israel... with a hypersonic ballistic missile type Hatem-2, which was manufactured in Yemen.

The Israeli air defense systems alongside two American destroyers & French fleet in the Red Sea did not intercept it, despite multiple attempts to shoot down the missile.

Wow, the missile traveled 2,000 kilometers in 13 minutes...and evaded all the American advanced systems.

Meanwhile, the Yemeni forces are already in Syria for ground operations against Israel. They'll join Hezbollah for this tactical operation in support of Gaza, the Hamas and Palestine

On Saturday, Hezbollah launched a barrage of missiles into Israel, targeting the Metulla military base; dozens of Israeli soldiers were killed. In response, Israel attacked civilian residences in southern Lebanon.

The New World Order and the Changing Geopolitical Landscape

By RuzekiShadoww News

June 01, 2024

The idea of a "New World Order" is gaining attention as the world's political landscape changes significantly. These changes are driven by new technologies, shifts in economic power, and the evolving roles of major countries. This article explains how these factors are shaping the New World Order and what it means for international relations today.

The End of U.S. Dominance

After the Cold War, the United States was the dominant global power for almost three decades. However, this dominance is now fading, thanks to China and Russia which are becoming more powerful, challenging the U.S. and creating a world where power is shared among several countries.

China's Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) is a good example of this shift. Through large infrastructure projects around the world, China is increasing its influence. Meanwhile, Russia's aggressive actions in places like Ukraine and Syria show its desire to be a major player again.

Technology and Cyber Power

Technology is a key factor in the changing geopolitical landscape. The competition for supremacy in areas like artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and 5G networks is intense among the U.S., China, and the European Union. These technologies are crucial for future economic and military strength.

Cyber security is also a major issue. Countries are constantly engaging in cyber attacks and espionage, trying to protect their own digital infrastructure while targeting others. This new kind of warfare challenges traditional ideas about borders and national security.

Changes in the Economy and Trade

Economic power is central to geopolitical influence. In recent years, there has been a shift towards more protectionist and nationalist economic policies. The trade war between the U.S. and China is a clear example of this, as both countries are trying to become less economically dependent on each other.

The COVID-19 pandemic made these trends even more pronounced, revealing weaknesses in global supply chains and pushing countries to seek more economic independence. Regional trade agreements, like the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) in Asia, are becoming more important, reshaping global trade and economic relationships.

International Institutions Under Pressure

International institutions like the United Nations, the World Trade Organization, World Bank, the UN Security Council, and the International Monetary Fund are facing challenges. Most of these institutions were created after World War II to promote global cooperation, but many now see them as oppressive, outdated and ineffective.

Emerging powers want these institutions to change to better reflect the current balance of global power. The BRICS+ group (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Iran, Ethiopia, Saudi Arabi, Egypt, and the UAE ) is advocating for a world order that reduces Western dominance. The future of these institutions depends on their ability to adapt and the willingness of major countries to work together.

Regional Conflicts and New Alliances

Regional conflicts and changing alliances add to the complexity of the geopolitical landscape. In the Middle East, the rivalry between Israel and Iran continues to cause instability. Meanwhile, the Israeli war in Gaza, which has resulted in over 40,000 civilian deaths is threatening normalized relations between Israel and several Arab states.

In Asia, the Indo-Pacific region is a hotspot of geopolitical tension. The U.S. and its allies, including Japan, South Korea, and Australia, are aggressively working to counter China's growing influence. This has led to very volatile geopolitical situation in the Indo-Pacific; as China could militarily take control of Taiwan.

The New World Order is shaped by a mix of rising powers, technological advancements, economic shifts, and changing alliances.

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has died in a tragic helicopter crash

By RuzekiShadoww News

May 20, 2024

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has died in a tragic helicopter crash near Jolfa, in northern Iran, on May 19, 2024. The crash also claimed the lives of several high-ranking officials, including Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and top military commanders. The helicopter, reportedly en route to a remote inspection, encountered severe technical difficulties leading to the fatal crash.

Rescue efforts were immediately deployed, involving numerous emergency response teams. However, the difficult terrain and the intensity of the crash made rescue operations challenging. Initial reports suggest that all on board perished instantly, and recovery operations are focused on retrieving remains and investigating the cause of the crash [[❞]]

Condolences have poured in from around the world. Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei expressed profound sorrow and called Raisi a "martyr of service," while leaders from all over the world such as Russia, China, India, Kenya, Brazil, etc., have sent their sympathies. The international community, including UN officials, also extended their condolences, acknowledging Raisi’s significant role in regional politics.

Raisi’s death is expected to have considerable implications for the Middle East. Domestically, it could lead to political instability as Iran navigates the transition of power. Mohammad Mokhber, the current First Vice President, has been appointed as acting president until new elections can be arranged [[❞]]

Regionally, Raisi’s death comes at a sensitive time. Iran's relationships with neighboring countries and its role in the ongoing conflicts in Syria and Iraq might be affected. Raisi was actively involved in enhancing Iran's strategic partnerships, notably with Pakistan and Russia, and his absence could alter the dynamics of these relationships. Furthermore, this event might impact ongoing negotiations and conflicts involving Iran, including the country’s contentious nuclear program and its confrontations with Israel [[❞]]

In summary, the sudden death of President Raisi is a significant event with potential repercussions for Iran's internal politics and its geopolitical stance in the Middle East. The coming weeks will be crucial in determining how Iran navigates this period of transition and its broader impact on regional stability [[❞]]

Opinion: As Iran responds, only hypocrites can defend Israel.

By RuzekiShadoww News

April 15, 2024

At least four countries, namely the US, UK, France, and Jordan joined forces with Israel to intercept some of the Iranian missiles before they could hit Israeli military targets.

Seriously, if you can shoot down missiles heading for Israeli military targets, why can you shoot down missiles heading for civilian targets in Gaza⁉️

To be clear, you could have easily prevented the genocide in Gaza from day one, but you chose not to.

During yesterday's emergency meeting at UNSC, Russia’s ambassador to the UN, Vassily Nebenzia, called out the Western countries, including France, the UK and the US, are displaying “hypocrisy” after they declined to support a statement condemning the Israeli attack on the Iran consulate on April 1.

Americans, if you got humiliated by the Taliban, you can't beat Russia in Ukraine, you are unable to stop the Houthis blockade in the Red Sea, and are terrified at an Iranian response after Israel attacked their embassy, it might be a very good idea to stop trying to provoke China in the South China Sea.

If you've ever said that Israel has a right to defend itself, why is it so hard to understand that Iran too has a right to defend itself?

You think after Israel bombed Iranian embassy in Syria, Tehran would just count their loses and leave it to Allah? Hell No! Iran had to respond with hellfire of missiles, only targeting Israeli military targets.

Here's Israel's evil plan:

✓ To drag the West into a disastrous Middle East war or even start a World War III.

✓ To keep getting away with a genocide in Gaza.

✓ To keep slaughtering women and children in Gaza.

✓ To keep occupying the Palestinian land.

✓ To keep attacking Syria.

✓ To keep attacking Lebanon.

✓ To keep attacking other countries' embassies.

✓ To keep assassinating Iranian military commanders, nuclear scientists, and engineers.

✓ To keep sponsoring ISIS.

✓ To keep blackmailing the American politicians (through AIPAC).

✓ To keep defying international laws (ignoring UN resolutions as well as the ICJ rulings &provisions).

Sadly, the United States and other stupid countries are willing to play along with Israel.

Iran launches more than 200 drones and cruise missiles at Israel in a retaliatory attack against Israel.

By RuzekiShadoww News

April 14, 2024

Iran has invoked Article 51 of the UN Charter to justify its retaliatory attack on Israel. The provision grants countries the right to self-defence if they come under attack.

Iranian officials have said their response to Israel’s attack on their Damascus consulate will be precise and limited. And that is what we have seen this evening in the operation dubbed “True Promise” by the Revolutionary Guard.

Here's what we know about Iran’s attacks on Israel:

Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Corp (IRGC) said it fired hundreds of missiles at Israeli targets in retaliation to Israel’s deadly attack on the Iranian consulate in Syria on April 1.

Iran’s military response marked its first direct attack on Israeli territory and began on Saturday night at around 20:00 GMT.

Explosions were heard in cities across Israel, including Tel Aviv and West Jerusalem, and air raid sirens sounded in more than 720 locations as Israeli forces sought to shoot down the Iranian projectiles.

The Israeli military later said Iran launched more than “200 killer drones, ballistic missiles and cruise missiles” at Israel and that the vast majority of the projectiles were intercepted outside the country’s borders, with help from the US and UK forces.

The IDF added that a “small number of hits were identified”, including at a base in southern Israel, “where minor damage was caused to infrastructure”. According to Israeli military, there were no reports of major fatalities.

Israel’s Home Front Command lifted its order for Israelis to stay near bomb shelters in the early hours of Sunday, at around 00:00 GMT.

With the attack, Iran’s mission to the UN said it considered the matter of Israel’s raid on its consulate in Syria concluded and warned of a considerably more severe response should the Israeli regime make another mistake.

The UN Security Council will hold an emergency meeting requested by Israel later on Sunday.

Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon and Israel have temporarily closed their airspace while several airlines suspended flights in the region.

The US president issued a statement on Iran’s attacks against Israel, shortly after speaking on the phone with Netanyahu, saying he condemns the assault “in the strongest possible terms”.

Joe Biden said that US forces deployed to the region helped Israel take down “nearly all of the incoming drones and missiles” and reaffirmed Washington’s “ironclad commitment” to its ally’s security.

COUNTDOWN: After Israeli attack on Iran's consulate, a retaliatory attack by Iran is inevitable.

By RuzekiShadoww News

April 06, 2024

Israel is on high alert and actively preparing for Iranian retaliatory attack that could come as soon as within next week.

After the Hamas surprise attack of Oct. 7, Israel has been relentlessly attacking Gaza. Israel has killed and maimed at least 100,000 civilians in Gaza, mostly children and women.

Israel has gotten away with war crimes including Gaza genocide for the last six months. However on Monday, the Israel Defense Forces made one last big mistake of attacking Iran's consulate in Damascus, Syria.

A retaliatory attack by Iran is now inevitable.

It is clear that the IRAN-ISRAEL WAR will be mutually destructive and disruptive beyond the Middle East, but Iranians think it is high time that Israel pays for everything.

The US asked Iran not to target American military personnel and facilities in the Middle East and that it cannot get involved in Iran-Israel war. The Americans understand that an attack on an embassy is an attack on the country to which that embassy belongs.

Iran has vowed to target Israel in response to Monday’s Israeli airstrike in Iran's consulate in Syria that killed senior Iranian commanders among other officials.

On Thursday, the Israeli Defense Forces announced that it was suspending leave for reservists, a day after it ordered the reinforcement of air defense units.

The Israeli government continues to urge its citizens to remain calm. After Monday's Israeli attack on Iran's embassy complex, Israelis have been on full panic mode, many have been purchasing generators, emptying their ATMs, storing food, water and other essential commodities.

Israelis are furiously working to hide ahead of what is to come, as they anticipate that Iran’s attack could unfold in a number of different ways.

Middle East Escalation: Israel strikes Iran consulate in Damascus; as well as attacking foreign aid workers in Gaza

By RuzekiShadoww News

April 2, 2024

Iran has vowed to respond in kind after an Israeli attack on its consulate in Damascus, which killed 11 including two senior IRGC commanders.

Here's what we know

Attack on Iran's consulate in Damascus:

Iran has promised to retaliate after a strike it blamed on Israel killed two of its senior commanders and five others at its consulate in Syria.

In a letter to the UN, Iranian Foreign Ministry warned that Tehran “preserves the right to take reciprocal measures and will decide the type of response and punishment against the aggressor.”

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said that the attack on Iran’s consulate in Damascus will not go unanswered. Iran's Supreme Leader has ordered the Iranian armed forces to prepare a response.

Israel has long targeted Iran and its proxies in Syria. Tuesday's attack in Damascus is a significant escalation due to both the location and the target.

The Iranian consulate building, which includes the ambassador’s residence and is located next to the Iranian Embassy. It is considered a sovereign Iranian territory.

Killing of foreign aid workers:

An Israeli airstrike killed at least seven World Central Kitchen aid workers while delivering food to civilians in Gaza. Those killed nationals from Australia, Poland, the United Kingdom, a dual US-Canada national and a Palestinian.

International organizations and many countries have condemned the killing of seven World Central Kitchen aid workers in Gaza, on Tuesday.

Attack on press freedom:

Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed to shut down Al Jazeera following the passage of a law allowing the temporary closure of foreign networks deemed a threat to national security.

Gaza Genocide: UN Security Council passes resolution demanding Gaza ceasefire

By RuzekiShadoww News

March 25, 2024

Here's what you should know about UNSC cease-fire resolution:

  • The UN Security Council for the first time passes a resolution demanding an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
  • Fourteen countries voted in favour of the resolution; the US, which is Israel’s main ally, abstained.
  • At least 34,000 Palestinians have been killed and over 80,000 injured in Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7.
  • The death toll in Israel from Hamas’s October 7 attack stands at 1,000, with dozens still held captive by both sides.

Israel’s ambassador to the UN, Gilad Erdan, claimed that the resolution failed to demand a ceasefire without conditioning it on the release of captives in Gaza. In addition, Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir termed the UN as the wasteland.

As reported earlier, PM Netanyahu cancelled the departure of an Israeli delegation for talks at the White House on its planned Rafah offensive after the US abstained on the vote on the Security Council resolution.

Hamas welcomed the UN Security Council resolution but also emphasises its own positions on a ceasefire and the release of captives.

According to the White House, its abstention from a UN vote demanding an immediate ceasefire in Gaza does not represent a shift in US foreign policy. US officials are disappointed about Netanyahu’s decision not to send his advisers for talks at the White House about the Rafah operation.

Malta, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Slovenia and other UN members continue to call for full implementation of the UN Security Council resolution that legally binds Israel to an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip for roughly the next two weeks.

The UN chief Antonio Guterres says the UN Security Council just approved a long-awaited resolution on Gaza that demands an immediate ceasefire and the immediate and unconditional release of all captives.

Algeria’s representative welcomed the resolution’s passing, saying the UN Security Council was finally shouldering its responsibility as the primary organ responsible for maintaining international peace and security. He added that the Gaza genocide had continued for far too long.

Mozambique’s ambassador to the UN, Pedro Comissario Afonso, introduced the draft resolution demanding a ceasefire in Gaza. Russia’s ambassador to the UN Vasily Nebenzya proposed an amendment to Mozambique's text, but it is voted down by the United States.

Moscow Concert Attack: At least 133 dead in terrorist attack; ISIS claims responsibility; four gunmen caught while heading to Ukraine

By RuzekiShadoww News

March 22, 2024

At least 133 people were killed and more than 200 injured when the terrorists stormed the building, firing indiscriminately and setting it alight.

Russian authorities said 11 people were detained in total, and the four gunmen were caught while heading to Russia-Ukraine border.

The Islamic State terror group's claim was made through an ISIS-linked news agency and was not backed by any proof.

What we know about the Moscow concert attack

  • Men in camouflage broke into a Moscow concert hall and opened fire, shooting an unknown number of people.
  • The ISIS, which is believed to be a CIA and Mossad-backed terror group, has claimed responsibility but has not provided proof of the claim, which was made on ISIS-affiliated news agency Amaq on Telegram.
  • Russia officials said that at least 133 people are dead and more than 200 injured after the attack at Crocus City Hall on Friday.
  • A fire also started inside Crocus City Hall, a large concert venue northwest of central Moscow.

Firefighters have evacuated about 300 people from the basement of the building and efforts are underway to rescue people from the roof, Russian emergency officials said.

Russia security service said it was investigating the attack as a terrorist act.

A popular rock band was scheduled to play what appeared to be a sold-out show at the venue, which has a maximum capacity of more than 9,000 people.

Guards at the concert hall didn’t have guns, and some could have been killed at the start of the attack, Russian state media reported.

According to some news outlets, the assailants fled before special forces and riot police arrived.

Reports said police patrols were looking for several vehicles the attackers could have used to escape.

The U.S. had intelligence that ISIS could mount a mass casualty attack in Russia. In March 7, the U.S. embassy in Russia issued a warning about a possible extremist attacks, including at concerts, urging American citizens to stay away from large gatherings.

Some Moscow concertgoers filmed events as they unfolded on Friday night, when gunmen opened fire inside a theater and people ran to take cover in fear for their lives.

Witnesses to today’s armed attack on Moscow’s Crocus City Hall told TASS news agency that they first mistook the gunfire for sounds of an installation being dismantled.

The terror group Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the attack in Moscow.

The terror group, also known as ISIS and is believed to be backed by the US and Israel, did not provide any proof of its claim, which came from ISIS-affiliated news agency Amaq on Telegram.

The ISIS terrorists have carried out a number of terror attacks, including the 2015 attacks in Paris that killed 130 people and a recent terror attack in Kerman, which killed about 100 Iranians, in January 2024.

Russia’s commissioner for children’s rights, Maria Lvova-Belova, said children were among the victims of tonight's attack.

Earlier, Russian officials released a preliminary casualty toll of at least 115 people dead and more than 200 injured.

People and leaders from all over the world are among those who expressed their condolences to the victims of the attack at the Crocus concert hall in Moscow.

Several regional leaders across Russia, have canceled public events this weekend over security considerations after the deadly concert attack in Moscow.

Russia's Ministry of Emergency Situations said the number of rescue crews responding to the attack is growing and now includes more than 320 firefighters, 130 emergency vehicles and three helicopters dumping water on the burning concert venue.

According to RIA news agency, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said President Vladimir Putin was informed about the shooting at the Crocus concert hall "in the first minutes" of the attack.

We shall update this Breaking News as soon as new information is available.

Opinion: A message to President Vladimir Putin of Russia concerning Wednesday's nuclear threats

By RuzekiShadow News

March 13, 2024

President Vladimir Putin, as much as you mean well for the Freedom of Russia, I hate to say this, but I must say it anyway:

"Your reckless nuclear rhetoric is dangerous to the existence of the whole world.

Think about it, what happens when Russia nuke the US/NATO?

I'm afraid the US/NATO will nuke Russia back, and the nuke cycle continues until the whole planet is full of mushroom clouds.

These nukes will release enormous amounts of energy in the form of blast, heat and radiation. Nearly seven billion people in Africa, Europe, Asia and America will be killed; these include the people who view you as their hero.

A few million (privileged; politicians & wealthy individuals and their immediate families) will be safe in their bankers...but the majority of us, with nowhere to hide, will be wiped off the face of the earth.

Let's try to negot. for a peace deal in #UkraineRussiaWar as well as in Gaza."

The risk of nuclear weapons use is the highest it has been in decades. Nuclear threats and other reckless behaviour from nuclear-armed states are elevating the risk that conflict escalates into a global catastrophe.

But it does not have to be this way. Together, we can take meaningful action to rid the world of these threats of nuclear weapons.

How can we do that?

The current nuclear threats by Russia and the US must never become “normal”. Every voice raised against nuclear weapons and nuclear threats reduces the risk, and can really help prevent their use.

So, I urge my readers to use your voice on social media, in public rallies, in phone calls or emails to your elected representatives, any other available means.

The important thing is to speak out against these threats before it is too late.

It’s time to stop the madness!

You don’t need to be an expert to speak out against nuclear weapons and call out how dangerous and unacceptable nuclear weapons are. But information is power, and having the facts can help you find new ways to take action in ways that are meaningful to you.

Marcus Mosiah Garvey 1924 Poem: Hail, United States Of Africa

By RuzekiShadow News

February 3, 2024

"The journalist and black nationalist leader Marcus Garvey wrote a poem about it. The reggae great Bob Marley sang about it. And the Libyan hero Moammar Gadhafi poured his oil wealth into it. But none lived to see a United States of Africa."  According to The Wall Street Journal.

The United States of Africa is a concept of a federation of some or all of the 54 sovereign states and two disputed states on the continent of Africa. The concept takes its origin from Marcus Garvey's 1924 poem "Hail, United States of Africa".

Hail, United States of Africa

Hail! United States of Africa-free!
Hail! Motherland most bright, divinely fair!
State in perfect sisterhood united,
Born of truth; mighty thou shalt ever be.

Hail! Sweet land of our father's noble kin!
Let joy within thy bounds be ever known;
Friend of the wandering poor, and helpless, thou,
Light to all, such as freedom's reigns within.

From Liberia's peaceful western coast
To the foaming Cape at the southern end,
There's but one law and sentiment sublime,
One flag, and its emblem of which we boast.

The Nigeria's are all united now,
Sierra Leone and the Gold Coast, too.
Gambia, Senegal, not divided,
But in one union happily bow.

The treason of the centuries is dead,
All alien whites are forever gone;
The glad home of Sheba is once more free,
As o'er the world the black n-tan raised his head.

Bechuanaland, a State with Kenya,
Members of the Federal Union grand,
Send their greetings to sister Zanzibar,
And so does laughing Tanganyika.

Over in Grand Mother Mozambique,
The pretty Union Flag floats in the air,
She is sister to good Somaliland,
Smiling with the children of Dahomey.

Three lusty cheers for old Basutoland,
Timbuctoo, Tunis and Algeria,
Uganda, Kamerun, all together
Are in the Union with Nyasaland.

We waited long for fiery Morocco,
Now with Guinea and Togo she has come,
All free and equal in the sisterhood,
Like Swazi, Zululand and the Congo.

There is no state left out of the Union-
The East, West, North, South, including Central,
Are in the nation, strong forever,
Over blacks in glorious dominion.

Hail! United States of Africa-free!
Country of the brave black man's liberty;
State of greater nationhood thou hast won,
A new life for the race is just begun.

Origin

Garvey's ideas and formation systems deeply influenced former Africa leaders and the rebirth of the African Union.

An influential advocate of Pan-Africanism, Kwame Nkrumah was a founding member of the Organization of African Unity.

In February 2009, upon being elected chairman of the 53-nation African Union in Ethiopia, General Muammar Gaddafi told the assembled African leaders: "I shall continue to insist that our sovereign countries work to achieve the United States of Africa."
